I'm going to take a little break from blogging over the Christmas break(I'm sure I'll still be around on Instagram. My username is @zaslittleblog). I'll be enjoying plenty of ham, spending lots of time with family and friends and enjoying myself. Merry Christmas!!

Papillionaire.

You know how you go to the beach, and you see all the cool locals riding around on awesome vintage looking bikes, and dream of riding one? Well I know I certainly do!

I have recently discovered Papillionaire Bikes. Papillionaire are a bicycle company, who design modern, easy-riding bicycles. I love the vintage style of these bikes, the traditional basket on the front, the colours; oh I could go on and on and on!

You can get your hands on one of these bikes, built in Melbourne, for around $500.

Customise and purchase your Papillionaire bike on their website here. You can also pop in to Papillionaire's Melbourne or Sydney store for a test-ride. I know I will be!

Manual.

I have lately been playing around with the manual settings rather than just using the camera on auto. It is all starting to click now and I am getting the results I want.

My camera and I are off Bondi this afternoon; I am planning to shoot the afternoon on manual.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend,

12.12.12

Today was like every other day, besides the fact that the date was the 12.12.12! The last time we will see a date like this.

We didn't do too much. Just a typical day really.

In the afternoon we went for a walk while the sun was setting.

And when we returned home it was taco's for dinner.

What did you get up to on the 12.12.12?

Counting Down The Days.

14 days until Christmas
5 days until my Christmas break starts

20 days until a New Year’s Eve party in the Hunter Valley

33 days until my birthday

What is one thing your counting down?

Saturday.

Today we had nothing planned and the day ended up being great.
We started off the day with a yummy breakfast.  Later on, we went for a walk around the city and decided to go to the Queen Victoria Building.  We saw a huge Christmas tree which is draped with 144,000 Swarovski crystal ornaments and 60,000 lights. Beautiful. Apparently it is the largest Christmas tree in Australia.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

I'm Grateful.

I am grateful.
For my life.
For my wonderful family.
For opportunities.

Weekend

Saturday was super hot in Sydney so the day was spent at home. We put the Christmas tree up, but didn't manage to put everything up, just the tree. The lights will hopefully go up later on this week.

Sunday was spent shopping. It was extremely busy, but I did manage to score a rather nice lens. Finally!!
