Manual.

I have lately been playing around with the manual settings rather than just using the camera on auto. It is all starting to click now and I am getting the results I want.

My camera and I are off Bondi this afternoon; I am planning to shoot the afternoon on manual.

Weekend

Saturday was super hot in Sydney so the day was spent at home. We put the Christmas tree up, but didn't manage to put everything up, just the tree. The lights will hopefully go up later on this week.

Sunday was spent shopping. It was extremely busy, but I did manage to score a rather nice lens. Finally!!

Lenses.

I am thinking about buying a new lens. I just can’t choose which one to buy, there are so many!

When I brought my canon eos 600d it came with two lenses;  18-55mm and 55-250mm. They are great lenses but I would like to get more into portrait photography.

What is your favorite lens and why?

Whales.

While I was in Wollongong the other day I spotted whales!   Luckily I had my camera!

 

 

 

 

 

10 on 10.

I've been following so many 10 on 10 challenges and have decided I'm going to join in on the fun.

 Now what's this 10 on 10 Challenge?

It's all about capturing those everyday things. You pick a day and take 10 photos throughout the day of anything you want; maybe it's a photo of what you ate fordinner, or your trip to the supermarket, a book you're reading, or anything. This challenge is all about capturing, those everyday moments.

I will post my 10 photos on the 10th of each month and would love if you posted yours!

You do not need a SLR camera to play along, any camera will do, you can even use your iPhone.
